九十年代的沙特阿拉伯因早年的政治变革社会风气日趋保守，任何形式的艺术创作都被视为异端，女性外出亦须穿着全黑头巾及罩布，只能露出一双眼睛。正值花样年华的Norah生在偏远村落，从小就向往大城市的多姿多采，不甘只作传统女性一辈子在家相夫教子，但三姑六婆为她安排的婚期已推无可推。有日村上来了城市出身、原为画家的新老师，令她犯下禁忌仍竭力追求，只为一幅属于自己的画像。Tawfik Alzaidi的长片出道作讲述一男一女于这个艺术有罪的年代追求自由的故事，成为首部入选康城影展的沙特电影，更夺得一种关注单元特别表扬。
