《游戏大作战》改编自中国网络作家苹果樹树树的同名耽美小说《了不起的游戏之战》讲述的是作家赵一嘉的故事，该片面临顶级网络小说家叶栾（成龙饰）的抄袭指控。当证据消失和栾拒绝参与时，他试图为自己正名的努力受挫。这加深了一佳对鸾的怨恨。然而，他们出人意料地合作了一个项目。
